1102 - Assignment for Feb 4

Folks,

Here's what I listed on PowerPoint as the assignment for tomorrow:

1. Select ONE of your argument examples from the previous assignment (to find 2-3) and mark the thesis, claims, evidence, recognition of opposing arguments, any appeals to audience. Bring a copy for pair-work.
2. Read the TWO sample arguments I put on Blackboard & prepare for in-class group discussion. We'll work to identify the argument elements in both.
3. Get caught up on your reading.
4. Work on your assignment.

Ah, but where are the two sample arguments? They are now on Blackboard, under the first assignment tab - a pdf entitled "Two Arguments for Class Discussion 2-5-09"
