1102: "An Inconvenient Truth" assignments - 1/27/09

Today and Thursday we'll watch "An Inconvenient Truth", which makes use of many elements of argument. I've never seen the film, so I'm looking forward to watching it with you.

This week, I want you to supplement your understanding/enjoyment of "An Inconvenient Truth" by reading a handful of reviews and academic analyses of the film.

Using our library's online databases, locate and read 2-3 reviews of the film, as well as 2 academic articles about it. If you want a refresher on how to use Atkins Library's resources, visit our class Blackboard, where you'll find a document with research suggestions.

Meanwhile, this is a good article with which to start from the online magazine "Slate".
